UBCCC sets May meeting

The May 23rd meeting of the Upper Bear Creek Community Council (UBCCC) will be held at the Woodinville Water District Office, 17238 NE Woodinville-Duvall Rd., at 7:30 p.m.

Chuck Cushing will represent friends of Cottage Lake with a report on the water quality of Cottage Lake. Mike Lazano, King County Parks Project Manager for Cottage Lake Park, will discuss the final phase of development for the park, the scope, and timetable for that work.

The swimming pool will be open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and as usual, there will be other park-sponsored activities at Cottage Lake this summer. The Park Department usually responds to requests from the public regarding activities in the park. Past efforts have provided several summers of musical programs in the park.

Now is the time to speak up and make your wishes known. Come and contribute your ideas for activities in our park. All interested persons of the community are welcome to attend.
