Mills Music Band needs minstrels

   For the 15th year, Mills Music offers students with one or more years of music training the opportunity to join the Mills Music Marching Minstrels Band. Registration for children who play a band instrument or keyboard runs through May 31 at any Mills Music store. There is a $45 fee for the 10 music and marching lessons and includes a uniform hat and shirt that may be kept by the band member. Rehearsals are June 1-July 3 at Anderson School in Bothell on Mondays and Thursdays from 7-8:30 p.m. Students will then be ready to march in the Bothell 4th of July Parade. Nutrition class

   Woodinville Chiropractic will offer a free nutrition class on Tuesday, May 30, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Woodinville Family Chiropractic Center, 17220 127th Pl. NE. For details, call 488-3411.

Blood drive

   Puget Sound Blood Center will hold a blood drive on May 31 at the Bothell High School library, 18125 92nd Ave. NE. Hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a break from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Call (206) 292-6511.

Recycle old phone books

   Outdated UW West Dex phone books can be recycled in bins located at the Fred Meyer parking lots in Lynnwood and Totem Lake through Aug. 23. For more information, call (206) 442-2800, ext. 2665.
