Northshore administrators are on the move

   The following administrative moves will take place in the Northshore School District, effective July 1:

   Sylvia Lesser, presently the principal of East Ridge Elementary, will assume the role of principal at Kenmore Elementary. She replaces Steve Wharton, who will become the principal of Woodmoor Elementary, replacing Blake Puckett, who is retiring after 30 years in education. Lesser has been in the Northshore School District since 1983.

   Ann Madsen, presently an assistant principal at both Lockwood and Wellington Elementaries, has been selected as the new principal for East Ridge Elementary. Over the course of 25 years in education, Ann has worked in international schools in London, England, and in school districts in Washington.

   Dave Robinson, currently assistant principal at Leota Junior High, has been selected as assistant director of Northshore's Homeschool Networks program, replacing Karen Fineide, who is retiring after 32 years in Northshore. Robinson has been an assistant principal at Leota Junior High.

   Rob Bastasch, currently an assistant principal at Inglemoor High School, will become the assistant principal at Northshore Junior High.

   John Loy, currently assistant principal at Northshore Junior High, will become an assistant principal at Inglemoor High School.
