Bright lights, thrilling rides, and the smell of delicious food are all signs the carnival is in town.

Davis Amusements Cascadia will be providing the midway for the Carnival O' Fun to be held June 8-11 at the lot across from the Woodinville/Bothell Home Depot. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Teen Northshore Program.

Davis Amusements Cascadia will bring 15 exciting rides, 12 games, and four food stands to the event this year. Thrillseekers should keep an eye out for the Arctic Express and Super Loop. Star Wars fans will experience the "G" forces of the Gravitron--a ride that will certainly keep the force with you.

For those not quite so daring, the midway will also feature traditional favorites such as the Bumper Cars, Sizzler, Octopus, Tilt-A-Whirl, and more. Davis Amusements also has plenty of rides for the kids. Children and their parents will enjoy the Carousel, Dragon Wagon Coaster, Wind Jammer, Super Slide, and others that make up the kiddie ride area.

In addition to the rides, a walk down the midway will offer the opportunity to win a stuffed animal at one of the game booths, or sample cotton candy, candy apples, hamburgers, onion rings, popcorn, and many other foods that line the midway.

A special "armband" discount package will allow the wearer unlimited ride privileges for the entire day. Armbands sell for $17. Call 360-568-4084 for more information.

Hours of the midway entertainment are: Thursday and Friday, 3-11 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
