He and Alice celebrated seventy-three years of marriage before she died a year ago. He also was preceded in death by brothers George Kimball and Jack Kimball, and sister Ruth Murray. He is survived by his son, Arthur G. Kimball; his grandsons, Arthur Samuel Kimball, Anton C. Kimball, and Jess A. Kimball; and granddaughters Angela A. Steckly and Lenna L. Kimball.

A memorial service was held June 2 at First Lutheran Church, Bothell, where he was a member for fifty years. Memorial contributions may be given to a church or charity of choice.
