Groups have vowed to fight on
|On Monday, June 5, the King County Council remanded back to the Hearing Examiner the controversial plat on Treemont. By a vote of 10 to 3, the Council rejected the developer's arguments.|
Ruralites have already paid for fish habitat protection
|There is no justification for the SWM tax to be applied to any non-urban area. We ruralites have already paid for fish habitat protection through downzoning and regulatory-lockup controls.|
There are drawbacks to cellular phones
|The article in the June 5th edition about programs to recycle inactive or old cellular telephones for emergency use did a good job of pointing out the potential benefits, but not a serious drawback to using these phones.|
