FUNDrive returns

The Monroe Rotary Club is sponsoring its second annual FUNDrive on June 24. The fun starts with a 10:30 a.m. check-in at the Monroe Fairgrounds, and lasts through the afternoon with food, beverages, prizes, and music at the (top secret) finishing checkpoint.

This is not a race. It is a contest of observation and precision. The goal is to travel the correct route, through the beautiful Skykomish Valley, at the correct speeds, arriving at checkpoints at precisely the right time. The directions for the route are not hard, but to add an additional challenge, your team will have a list of questions and puzzles to solve. The answers can be found alongside the route.

Your team must consist of at least two people, the driver and the navigator/note taker. The entry fee for these two people is $60. Each additional team member is $10. Your entry fee covers the FUNDrive, snacks at checkpoints, prizes, and food and beverages at the finish.

For information, call Greg Starup (360-805-1111), Bob Beeman (360-794-1145), or Ric Carlson (360-794-5916); or stop by Frontier Bank on Main Street in Monroe and pick up an entry form.
