Drop-off sites for Call to Protect program

   Those wishing to drop off cell phones in the summer for the Call to Protect program should bring them to Redmond School House Community Center, 16600 NE 80th St. in downtown Redmond, during the day. Also, Kathy Lambert, R-Redmond, will be at the Center on June 23 between 7 and 9 p.m. to collect phones and to kick off her 2000 election campaign. Strawberry shortcake will be served, and a harpist will entertain. The used cell phones may also be left at the GTE Phone Mart, 13620 NE 175th St. in Woodinville.

Evergreen seeks member for ethics committee

   Evergreen Hospital Medical Center is recruiting a community volunteer to serve on the organization's Ethics Committee. Medical knowledge is not necessary. The committee meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 a.m. Interested candidates should contact Barbara Keefe at 425-672-2854.
