Police Beat

   June 2: A 36-year-old male was arrested in Wilmot Park after police noticed his car after the park had closed. While talking to the suspect, officers found he had an outstanding warrant in Issaquah for possession of drug paraphernalia. After arresting the suspect, officers searched the car and found drug paraphernalia and drugs.

   June 3: Officers reported someone ignited a local periodical paper box at a Metro Park & Ride. Suspect was believed to have headed north. The newspaper stand sustained major damage.

   June 4: Officers arrived at a car parked in the 171st and 131st block of Woodinville after a report of theft. A car had been broken into and a car stereo and two black CD cases containing 120 CDs were reportedly stolen. The thief left several large finger and hand prints on the vehicle.

   June 5: A car prowler was reported in the 142nd and 171st block. Officers responded to a call and found someone had pried off the driver's door lock on a vehicle.

   June 5: When confronted by a shoe store manager and an officer, an 18-year-old female was taken into custody for putting her old shoes into a shoebox and taking the new shoes. The female thought she should be released and not handcuffed for the alleged theft.

   June 6: Officers were called to the 171st block of Woodinville after a complaint about a loud party. Officers spoke with occupants and confiscated several glass smoking pipes and submitted them for disposal.

   June 6: A male juvenile was taken into custody for shoplifting after the manager of a local sports store noticed the suspect putting unpaid-for merchandise into a vehicle. Officers arrested the male when he was found to have several outstanding warrants in King County.

   June 7: In the 194th block of Woodinville, a male suspect was arrested for allegedly stabbing a roommate in a domestic violence episode.
