Pat moved to the family homestead at Paradise Lake, Woodinville, where she lived for over 20 years, raising draft horses and enjoying picnics with family, friends, and neighbors. The front porch was always a wonderful place to sit with Pat, where she felt comfortable expressing herself. The quiet of the lake was often interrrupted by Pat's laughter and music.
Pat loved to be outdoors, skiing, fishing, hiking, and playing golf. She was totally dedicated to her adopted daughter, Wyndi, and grandchildren Stephanie, Sahra, C.J., and Stacy.
Pat always encouraged and supported people around her to expand their worlds and lives, not only through education, but by having new experiences.
Pat and her husband, Pat Haglin, owned several small businesses, including Tank Services Northwest. She was a supporter of the Seattle Opera and the Seattle Symphony. She was a dedicated member of the Washington Draft Horse Association.
Pat lost her fight with breast cancer on Saturday, June 3. She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred, and sister, Jo Anne.
Pat is survived by her husband, also Pat Haglin; parents, Hank and Helen Doolittle; sister, Nancy Davis and her husband, Jeff Davis; niece and nephew, Tori and Jensen Davis; and many friends and extended family members.
Memorial services will be held June 19 at 2 p.m. at Greens Funeral Home, 16551 NE 79th, Redmond. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the Washington Draft Horse Association Scholarship Fund, c/o Emily Hankins; P.O. Box 1544; Pouslbo, WA 98370.
