Gymnast is state champ

Jackie Bibee

   Jackie Bibee, representing Northshore Gymnastics Center, placed first in the All-Around Competition for Level 4, 11-year-olds, at the State Meet held in Redmond last month. Jackie, a 5th grader at Hollywood Hill Elementary School, also placed first in the vault event.

Cooney named WHS girls' coach

   Mike Cooney has been named the new head girls' varsity basketball coach at Woodinville High School. He has coached the past four years at Inglemoor as an assistant varsity coach and this past year as their JV coach. WHS students who are interested in summer ball may call (425) 869-1892.

Cyclists gear up for STP

   Cyclists are getting ready for the 200-mile race known as the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic (STP), to be held this year July 8-9 beginning at the University of Washington.
