Fireworks: when and where

   All afire to be the first on your block to get fireworks? Not meaning to douse enthusiasm, but sales differ from cities and counties. The following list of times and dates should help clear the smoke away:

   Unincorporated King County: Sales begin on June 28 at noon and end on July 4 at 11 p.m. with the discharge of fireworks allowed on July 4th from 9 a.m. to 11.59 p.m.

   Unincorporated Snohomish County: Sales begin on June 28 at noon until 11 p.m., June 29-July 5 sales from 9 a.m.-11 p.m. July 6, from 9-noon. Discharge fireworks July 4 only from 9 a.m.-11:59 p.m.

   City of Bothell: July 1 sales begin at noon and go until 11 p.m. July 2 and 3 sales from 9 a.m.-11 p.m. July 4 sales from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Discharge fireworks July 4 from 9 a.m.-11 p.m. No discharge of fireworks is allowed in public parks or in the city. Must be 18 years old to discharge fireworks, except under the direct supervision of an adult. Must be at least 16 years old to purchase fireworks. ID required.

   City of Woodinville: No fireworks sold or discharged is allowed in the city limits.

   Cities of Kenmore and Duvall: See unincorporated King County.

   City of Carnation: Sales begin at noon on June 28 and continue through July 6 at noon. Discharge of fireworks on July 4 from 9 a.m.-11 p.m.
