Police Beat

   June 22: An underage male was arrested for marijuana and driving while his license was suspended.

   June 23: Police and medics were called to the scene after a male was found at the bottom of a swimming pool at a Woodinville apartment complex. No one saw the victim enter the pool, and it was unknown how long the victim was submerged. Multiple persons on the scene and medics attempted CPR, but were unsuccessful. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol and drugs were not found to be a factor, and the case has been sent to the medical examiner's office.

   June 23: A 34-year-old male was in violation of court orders not to have contact with his ex-wife and children.

   June 24: Underage liquor violations were given to four males in Wilmot Park. All city parks are closed after dusk.

   June 24: Unknown suspects were seen running away from a Woodinville business after police responded to a silent alarm. A security guard from the alarm/security company saw the suspects flee from a gated yard in a suspected burglary attempt.

   June 26: A vehicle was impounded on a parking violation after several written notices to move the vehicle had been sent with no response. The street was scheduled for repavement.

   June 26: Vegetable matter found in a film canister that tested positive as marijuana, along with two pipes and alcohol guaranteed the underage driver of a parked car a ride to King County Jail.
