Blood drive set for Bothell

   The Puget Sound Blood Center will hold a blood drive on July 31 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 2316 180th SE in Bothell, from 2 to 8 p.m. For information, call (206) 292-6511.

Dorothy Butler at Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church

   Dorothy Butler will be the featured artist on Sunday, July 30, at 10 a.m. at Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church. Dorothy began her career as a child performing in school and in churches. Today, she is an acclaimed soprano soloist from Portland, Oregon, who has won her way into the hearts of many with her powerful renditions of spirituals and other works of famous black composers. Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church invites area residents to the special event.

Ransacked Attic Sale, antique appraisals

   The Northshore Senior Center will be holding their treasure sale on Thursday, Aug. 3, from 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m., and Friday, Aug. 4, from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. in the multipurpose room and rooms 103 and 104. Come early for those hard-to-find collectibles. The sale benefits the Northshore Senior Center. Buy your tickets now for certified appraisers to evaluate items at the Sammamish Valley Grange on Saturday, August 12, 9-4 p.m. Appraisal tickets are one item $8, two items $14, and three items for $15. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Northshore Senior Center, 10201 E. Riverside Drive, Bothell, 425-487-2441. All proceeds benefit the Woodinville Seniors Program.
