Gilbert Wallace was friend and active supporter of Duvall

A memorial service was held August 8 for Gil Wallace, beloved friend and Duvall community supporter, who passed away August 2 at the age of 65.
   Mr. Wallace was born October 14, 1934 in Miles City, Montana and reared in Jordan, Montana.
   He retired as a service lineman with Puget Power in 1994. He was Duvall Citizen of the Year in 1993 and a rodeo enthusiast.
   Mr. Wallace is survived by his bride of 18 years, Arline Wallace of Duvall and dawg Sugar; brothers Carl Wallace of Great Falls, Montana and Ray McPhail of Joliet, Montana; sisters Joyce Wallace of Deer Park, California, Kathleen Severance of Portland, Oregon and Alice Graham of Odessa, Texas; children, Lori Christensen of Gig Harbor, Carla Slaughter of Olympia and Sheri Wallace of Graham; stepchildren, Evan Day of Issaquah, Terri Bishop of Issaquah and Doug Day of Ruskin, Florida; 10 grandchildren, Dominique, Miles, Robert, Jennifer, Dalton, Nichole, Gina, Jason, Ian and Bailey.

   The memorial service was followed by a Montana send-off and barbecue at Loutsis Lake. Arrangements by Green's Funeral Home.
