Everyone enjoyed Sandblast
Last weekend I invited my family to Duvall's Sandblast Festival. What a treat ‹ everyone from the seven month baby to the seventy-nine year old grandfather enjoyed themselves. The baby cooed at friendly faces, the kids experienced both Native American and Western culture between swims in the river and sculpting on the beach.
My artist daughter made important contacts including the possibility of a local job in her field. My younger daughter and her friends laughed aloud as they and the grandparents watched the antics of Circus Contraption, and I delighted in instantly recognizing my mother's addition to the ongoing story written at the poetry booth.
Thank you Duvall, I am so proud and thankful to live in this friendly, wholesome, multi-faceted community.
