Chef's Day at the Market

   The annual Chef's Day event at Woodinville Farmers' Market will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featured chef will be Kent Betts, owner/chef of Italianissimo in Woodinville. Betts and other local chefs will offer free samples of locally-grown products and cooking tips between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The Market is located next to City Hall. For details, call 485-1042.

Back to School art camp

   City of Woodinville Parks & Recreation will present a Back to School art camp Aug. 29, 30, and 31 at Mountain View Community Center. Ages 7 to 12 will meet from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; ages 13 to 18 will meet from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Campers will discuss and experiment with tools and techniques used in projects that require visual images. Spirituality in Recovery

   Spirituality in Recovery, a 12-step group, meets Sundays at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodinville Seventh-day Adventist Church. Stop in or call 788-0320 for information.

Power Point Workshop

   The Power Point Workshop is a beginning-level class for adults wishing to learn how to put together a Power Point presentation. Bring 4-5 photos to scan. Classes begin Thursday, August 24, at Inglemoor High School, from 7-9 p.m. Call 425-821-9219 to register. Seating is limited. Proceeds go to Team In Training/Leukemia Society. Suggested donation is $25.
