Vaught promoted to executive director of Support Services

   Dan Vaught, currently Northshore's Director of Capital Projects, has been promoted to Executive Director of Support Services.

   In this role, Vaught will oversee much of the infrastructure of the school district including Transporation; Capital Projects; Security, Emergency Preparedness; Food Services; Maintenance; Grounds; Warehouse; and Custodial.

   Vaught has been with the Northshore School District since 1988. He has served as Construction Manager; Facilities Planning Contact Administrator; and for the past five years, Director of Capital Projects.

   "I am very pleased with Dan's selection as our new Executive Director of Support Services," commented Superintendent Karen Forys. "He is a visionary who thinks creatively, is willing to tackle challenging problems, works well with others, and get solid results. As the Director of Capital Projects, Dan is well-respected by the members of his department, as well as fellow Support Services administrators and principals."

   Dan lives in Woodinville with his wife Debbie Branstetter, Northshore's Director of Technology. They have two children, one in college and one a Northshore student.
