Kenmore gets ready for annual 'Good Ol' Days' Festival

* KENMORE -- Kenmore will celebrate its annual "Good Ol' Days" Festival Sunday, Sept. 17.
   The community-wide event will begin with a Kiddies' Parade at 1 p.m. followed immediately by the Grand Parade.
   Routes for both are from the Metro lot, past the Fire Station and along NE 181st to Kenmore Village.
   Music, entertainment, food and fun activities throughout the Village for the whole family will follow the parades.
   A special feature this yar will be Kiddie Town where youngsters will enjoy free entertainment including magicians, balloon artists, clowns, bouncer, games and treats.
   The parade will have entries from local businesses, civic organizations, youth groups, sports and drill teams.
   Inglemoor High School's marching band, a national award winning group, will lead the way.
   Bagpipers and lassies will provide music and dancing to celebrate Kenmore's Scottish roots.
   Entry forms for the Kiddies Parade and Grand Parade may be picked up at Kenmore City Hall.
