City clerk honored

WOODINVILLE -- Sandra Steffler, CMC, city clerk of the City of Woodinville, has been accepted as a member in the Master Municipal Clerk Academy of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC).
   The academy is the professional body of municipal clerks who have continued their level of educational achievement beyond the attainment of the prestigious Certified Municipal Clerk Award.
   Steffler has been employed with the City of Woodinville since June 1995, serving two years as deputy city clerk before the appointment to her current position as city clerk.
   She completed the Municipal Clerks Institute conducted by the Graduate School of Public Affairs, University of Washington, Seattle, and received her Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation in October 1997.
   Continuing her professional education she has completed IIMC-approved Academy Programs offered through Washington Municipal Clerks Association.
   In addition, she completed the Eastside Cities Training Consortium and received her Municipal Leadership Certificate and her Municipal Management Certificate.
