Northshore Center moves to Lake Forest Park

The Northshore Center, the satellite campus of Shoreline Community College, will move from its Bothell location to the Lake Forest Park Towne Center. Construction of the 7,200-square-foot space began inJune and is scheduled to be completed by early September - in plenty of time for teh beginning of Fall Quarter classes. The new branch will be co-located with Third Place Books, on the second level of the center at Bothell Way and Ballinger Way.
The new center will be a "modern showcase for Shoreline's technology and credit programs,' says Reyes. At Bothell, Shoreline was more of an evening and weekend program. At the new Lake Forest Park location, the Northshore Center will offer morning, afternoon and evening classes and students will be able to earn a two-year transfer degree. The Northshore Center will continue to offer technology programs and continuing education classes along with a grwoing selection of high-tech vendor certification training programs.
