September garden events at Molbak's

Each month Molbak's in Woodinville holds seminars and demonstrations on a variety of gardening and home topics. The events are free unless otherwise noted.
   A Fall and Winter Patio Container Demonstration will be held Sunday, Sept. 3 and 24, at 11:30 a. m. in the Garden Plants Dept.
   Discover new spring-blooming bulb combinations, planting ideas, winter care and bulbs potted for forcing Friday, Sept. 8, from 6 to 7 p.m.
   Learn spring bulb design tips, varieties to choose from and combinations for both sun and shade Friday, Sept. 8, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
   Peggy Campbell will share design ideas and planting tips using a selection of seasonal plants Saturday, Sept. 9, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
   King County Master Recycler-Composters will answer questions Saturday, Sept. 9 and 23, from 10 a.m. to noon.
   Sayra Hill will demonstrate how to make herbal oils, vinegar and butters Sunday, Sept. 10, from 11:30 a.m. to noon in the Garden Plants Dept.
   Vegetable Seed Saving and Winter Care will be the topics for a seminar Friday, Sept. 15, from 7 to 8 p.m.
   Learn Fall Lawn Secrets Saturday, Sept. 16, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
   Carrie Becker will discuss Indian Summer Perennials Friday, Sept. 22, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
   Learn to make herbal teas, create dried wreaths and other fall entertaining ideas from the garden Saturday, Sept. 23 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
   Ornamental grasses will be showcased Friday, Sept. 29, from 7 to 8 p.m. Eric Nelson will discuss varieties and landscaping tips.
