Children's auditions for 'A Christmas Carol' announced
A Contemporary Theatre announces children's auditions for its upcoming production of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," adapted by ACT's founding director Gregory A. Falls and directed this year by Mark Harrison. There are seven roles available.
Auditions will be held at ACT, 700 Union Street, downtown Seattle, on Saturday, October 7, between 9 a.m and 6 p.m., with callbacks to be scheduled October 14.

Boys and girls (ages 6-14) of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Children should be accompanied by an adult and be prepared to stay for at least one hour.
Children are asked to bring a photo (either black and white or color) and a resume of drama, dance or music experience.
They should prepare a short poem, story or monologue (with a maximum length of one minute) to perform from memory, and a short song to be sung without accompaniment.
Rehearsals for "A Christmas Carol" begin Friday, November 3 and run during after-school hours and weekends. Performance dates are November 24 - December 24. All actors will be paid.
