Kenmore celebrates Good Ol' Days Sept. 17

* Kenmore will celebrate its Good Ol' Days Festival Sunday, Sept. 17, at Kenmore Village, 68th NE and NE 181st. Parking will be available at the Park and Ride located on 68th Ave. NE.
   The day's events kick off with a Kiddies' Parade followed by the Grande Parade at 1 p.m. The parades will begin at 73rd Ave. NE and NE 181st St. heading west to the festival grounds past Kenmore Village and Kenmore City Hall.
   1:30 p.m. Inglemoor band
   1:45 p.m. the Mayor's musical salute
   2 p.m. The Sojourners Men's Chorus
   2:15 p.m. The Milner Family (fiddlers)
   2:45 p.m. Trophies and Awards
   2:55 p.m. Drawing (Kenmore Air Flight)
   3 p.m. Bubbles the Clown
   3:30 p.m. Shin's Tae Kwan Do show
   3:40 p.m. Songs by Gary Jang
   4 p.m. Drawing (2 night stay at Marriott and US Bank bond)
   4:30 p.m. Bagpipers with lassies dancing
   5 p.m. Salute to Kenmore
   Other events during the day will include Kiddie Town with balloon artist, bouncer, treats, dunk tank games and other surprises.
   Food at the festival will feature pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, sno-cones, teriyaki, ice cream, espresso and more.The second annual Dahlia Show will also be held. Residents are invited to display their favorite blooms at the event.
