Carrying the Light of Hope
Mark your calendars for a night of extraordinary hope and celebration. On Friday, Sept. 22, hundreds of participants will gather at Greenlake to take part in the 2nd Annual Light the Night Walk to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Registration begins at 6 p.m. at the tent area located at the south end of Greenlake near the crew house/amphitheater and the walk begins at 7 p.m. This is a 3-mile evening walk for people of every age or physical ability.
Light the Night is made up of an incredible array of patients, survivors, and their supporters. Each participant carries an illuminated balloon as a symbol of hope during the walk.
Patients and survivors carry white balloons, while friends and family carry red balloons. As part of the experience, each participant is invited to share in the post-walk festivities by joining us for a fun-filled evening of music, refreshments and camaraderie.
