A Harvest Celebration at Country Village

Celebrate the autumn season at Country Village in Bothell at 23730 Bothell Everett Highway on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, October 6, 7, & 8.
Stroll the grounds decorated with cornstalks, scarecrows, and pumpkins. Paint a pumpkin and enter the 18th Annual Pumpkin Painting Contest - pumpkins and paint provided for $3.00 - all entries win a prize.
Enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables, cut flowers, honey, nuts, garden art and more at the Farmers Market on Friday from 10 to 3 p.m.
New this year: Enter the Scarecrow Making Contest, no fee and first prize wins a $100 shopping spree. Entries may be made by an individual or group - so use your imagination and recycled materials to create the winning scarecrow.
Pony rides and "play days" (a tent full of toys for children to enjoy), will be all three days. Play days are the following hours: Friday: 10-1, sponsored by K'Nex, Saturday: 10 - 2 sponsored by Thomas the Tank; Sunday 12 - 3 sponsored by Brio. Lots of fun free stuff while supplies last.
The orginal "Kettle Korn" will be available.
Popped in a huge open copper kettle, this treat is delectable. Delicious food will also be available at three onsite restaurants, snack bars, and specialty food booths.
Greyhound Pets, Inc., a non profit organization that rescues greyhounds from race tracks, will be bringing greyhounds to the Village Sunday only for show and adoption.
To get to Country Village take exit 26 off I-405 and go south one mile. For more information call 483-2250 or countryvillagebothell.com.
