Cedarcrest Cross Country team runs over Skyline

At Thursday's cross country meet vs Skyline H.S., the Cedarcrest's Boys team improved to 2-0 in the Kingco standings after beating Skyline 22-33.
   There were four CHS boys in the top six. James Conrick won his third straight race as he set his third course record this year in 16:36.
   Other top six placers were 3rd - Danny Abell 17:52, 4th - Chris Lee 18:12 and 5th - Pat Conrick 18.36.
   The girls team ran their best race of the year, but lost to Skyline, 20-39. The girls are now 0-2 in the Kingco standings. The girls were led by 2nd - Kelly Ramirez 20:36, 6th - Yingxuan Law 21:52, and 8th - Hannah Wright 23:35. Their next meet is Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Bellevue Invite against 40 teams from around the state. Their next Kingco meet is next Thursday, Sept. 28 against Sammamish H.S.
