Chrysalis School celebrates 17 years

September 2000 marked the beginning of Chrysalis School's 17th year in Woodinville.
The school was founded in 1983 by Karen Fogle and has been an innovator of independent study for thousands of students in grades kindergarten-12.
Chrysalis is especially proud of two of its graduates: Ian McGowan of Snohomish who participated in the Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia as a rower, and Ian Wight, a 2000 graduate who received the National Merit Scholarship Commended Student award.
