REF Golf Classic was a successful 'Tee' social

*CARNATION - A warm autumn sun greeted enthusiastic golfers at the 2nd annual REF Golf Classic Sept. 23 at Tall Chief Golf Course. Combined teams of students, teachers and parents joined in a friendly competition for traditional awards, while various players unknowingly earned mystery prizes.

Help plan Duvall's new youth center

*Meeting set for Oct. 17
   The second public workshop for the Duvall Youth Center organization and programming is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 17, 7 p.m. at the Duvall Fire Station, 15600 1st Ave. NE.

Volunteers needed for salmon rescue effort

*FALL CITY Washington Trout, a wild-fish conservation group, is seeking volunteers to help return threatened chinook salmon to upper Tokul Creek, a tributary of the Snoqualmie River.
