Alumni invited to homecoming events at WHS

In an attempt to hearken back to the real meaning of "Homecoming," the students and ASB Officers at Woodinville High School wish to extend an invitation to all WHS alumni for the upcoming events going on at the home of the Falcons.
During "The Glory of Gold" the week of October 16th-21st, there will be many opportunities for alumni to get involved:
Opening Ceremonies 7:20 a.m., Monday, Oct. 16. Because WHS's Homecoming theme this year is Olympics 2000, the main gym is the place to be for kickoff celebrations! WHS's 2000 Homecoming Royalty will be crowned, and the stage for tough class competition will be set.
Alumni Reunion/Tea 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 20. The excitement will be running high as the ASB welcomes back alumni for tea and cookies in the WHS cafeteria. Chat with other alumni and watch laugh-out-loud tapes from years gone by!
Closing Ceremonies noon, Friday, Oct. 20. Come watch and judge WHS athletes as each class competes for the gold medal in events like synchronized slinky play, class officer kazoo fight songs, and Jell-O wrestling! All interested in judging may contact the WHS ASB at: 489-6754
Pep Rally 4-6:15 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20. Join WHS students in their lower parking lot to get jazzed up for the game!
Highlights include food, music, lip synch contests, and a whole lotta blue and green! Get in on the car train and show those Franklin Quakers just how Woodinville spirit works.
Homecoming Game 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20. Come watch Terry Agnew's 2000 Woodinville Falcons at Pop Keeney Stadium. Register at the gate and receive a special prize; be on the lookout for a special Alumni Section in the stands!
The more WHS alumni Woodinville can include, the more successful Homecoming 2000 will truly be. Come out and take a trip down memory lane.
