Eagle watchers wanted

North Cascades Institute is seeking volunteers for their annual Eagle Watchers program, which begins in November with eagle experts training adult volunteers to answer questions and provide free information to people who come to the Upper Skagit Valley to watch bald eagles during December, January and February. Volunteers commit to 16 to 20 hours staffing stations along the Skagit River. Training dates are Nov. 2, 4 and 9 in Sedro-Woolley. Applications are due by October 27th.
