Arts Onstage presents 'The Wedding Game'

DUVALL - Rockhopper Dance romps through an evening-length program exploring themes of love, relationships and marriage in their Nov. 18 performance at Cedarcrest Performing Arts Center in Duvall.
With their trademark athleticism, wit and style, these seven dancers take the audience on a journey through courtship and marriage rituals, American style. The torture of bridesmaids' dresses, a bootcamp for groomsmen and the chaos of the umpteenth toaster with a nod and a wink to anyone who has been through the process, they capture it all.
Rockhopper Dance is a distinctive collective that has quickly built a reputation for creating works that mesh wild humor with fearless dance technique in a way that makes the art of dance accessible to all audiences. This performance is part of the King County Performance Network, a unique collaboration between the King County Arts Commission and local arts agencies which brings music, dance and theater to rural and suburban venues throughout King County.
Currently in its fourth season, this national model of collaboration connecting artists and suburban communities offers affordable access to the region's very best performing artists and ensembles.
