Neighbors unhappy with tower site

Residents of Hollywood Hill met last week with representatives of Voice Stream to express their displeasure with a transmission tower site proposed for the corner of 158th and 160th. This was the second meeting with community members for what was thought to be a discussion of alternate sites or alternate types of poles used.
Anger and frustrations surfaced among the residents when it was learned that Voice Stream had committed to a deadline.
Many felt that Voice Stream did not consider the best of all options that would satisfy both their requirements and the satisfaction of the community.
Several expressed their dissatisfaction with the process by canceling their Voice Stream cellular service. Voice Stream did agree to express the community's dissatisfaction to management.
