Bothell Parks & Rec activities

City of Bothell Parks & Recreation Department has announced its November events. Registration is required; call (425) 486-7430 for more information:
   Tae Kwon-do is an ongoing class offered Monday and Wednesday nights at the Kenmore Junior High School Cafeteria (please note the change in location from previous offerings of this class). The first session is from 6:20-7 p.m. and is for ages 7-12. The second session is from 7-8 p.m. and is for ages 13 to adult. Fees are due at the beginning of each month. $40/month, $30/month for second family member.
   Couple's Massage will be held Thursday, Nov. 16, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. for ages 18 and up - couples only - at the Adult Day Center, 9929 NE 180th. With the added stresses of the holidays, take time to learn how to massage each other's shoulders, neck and back in a seated position. Dress casually and be prepared to unwind. Instructor Bonni Sundberg LMP, will contact you before the class with instructions on what to bring. Cost is $50/couple.
   Smorgasbord Night for junior high students is planned for Friday, Nov. 17, from 7-10 p.m. at Anderson Cafeteria, 18603 Bothell Way NE. Join other Bothell teens for a night of music, games, videos, basketball, volleyball, art and talk. Feel free to bring chess, magic cards or board games and (appropriate) CDs.    Winterfest & Arrival of Santa will take place Saturday, Nov. 25, at 5 p.m. at the Park at Bothell Landing, 9919 NE 180th. Free events are planned for all ages. Come enjoy the annual tree lighting and arrival of Santa. See the park decorated in lights. Join the community songfest, and enjoy holiday goodies. There will also be photo opportunities with Santa (parents can bring their own camera).
