Applications available for King County Cultural Facilities Program

Applications and guidelines for the 2001 King County Arts Commission Cultural Facilities Program are now available from the King County Office of Cultural Resources. The annual Cultural Facilities Program enhances arts programming by funding arts facility capital projects for non-profit arts organizations and community arts agencies.
   Funds may be used for the purchase, design, construction or remodeling of performing arts, visual arts and cultural facilities.
   Funds may also be used to purchase equipment or "fixed assets" for non-profit arts organizations with a minimum two-year operating history. The program is funded by a portion of the hotel/motel tax revenues. The application deadline is Monday, Dec. 11.
