Parenting discussion at Chief Kanim Middle School
The PTSA's from Fall City Elementary School and Chief Kanim Middle School invite residents to attend a parenting discussion at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 15, at Chief Kanim Middle School Library.
Dr Amy Riskedahl, a behavioral optometrist, will be leading a discussion on a child's visual development. A child's eye development plays an important part in their overall development.
Delays in visual development can cause many problems at school, even some that parents may not associate with vision.
Dr. Riskedahl will address what warning signs to look for if there may be trouble, and what to do if a problem is diagnosed. Parents are encouraged join PTSA members for this informative evening.
