Nember 13, 2000
Daniel Patrick, 17, of Woodinville, was recently honored for his participation in a salmon restoration project in Marymoor Park along the Sammamish River.
It was part of Patrick's Eagle Scout project to help with the conversion of an 80,000-square-foot gravel parking lot into a natural area that will benefit salmon habitat and improve water quality.
King County Executive Ron Sims and King County Councilmember Jane Hague were on hand for the project.
Patrick's name is included on the plaque along with other groups taking part in the project.
