Cheryl Allen and Matthew Palmquist were married in a private ceremony with family on Nov. 13, 1999 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Puyallup. On June 24, 2000, the couple renewed their vows at Robinswood Estates in Bellevue with a reception following. Pastor John Pownall, a family friend from Woodinville, officiated.
   Cheryl is the daughter of Debbie and Larry Messick of Puyallup. She graduated from Rogers High School and attended Ricks College in Idaho. She is an administration assistant for Alaska Airlines in Seattle.
   The groom is the son of John and Gail Palmquist of Renton and Victoria and Jim Miller of Darrington. Victoria was originally a Woodinville resident. Matthew is a 1994 graduate of Woodinville High School and received a bachelor of science degree in flight technology with a flight officer specialization. He is currently a flight instructor at Spana Flights in Puyallup and was recently hired by Sky West Airline as a pilot. He will begin his training in January in Salt Lake City, Utah.
