DUVALL An assortment of vehicles enthralled kindergarten classes at Cherry Valley Elementary on Friday, Nov. 3.
The idea to offer an opportunity to familiarize students with different vehicles and their job purposes came from Cherry Valley kindergarten teacher Mrs. Mitten.
Included in the vehicle line up were: a limousine from A Crystal Coach Limousine Service in Issaquah, a Duvall Police car, Fire District 45 fire engine and medic response unit, a Cadman dump truck, a stump remover from Tom's Tree Service of Carnation, a tractor loaned from John and Margie Coy, a city of Carnation police car, an Asplundh Shredder, a tow truck from Steve's Collision in Carnation and a red "Hummer" owned by Bill and Wendy Dolph of Duvall.
Parent coordinators express their gratitude to these businesses that took the time from their busy work schedules to donate their vehicles and drivers to educate young minds.
