Don't let your child become a statistic
Three weeks ago while doing research for the Duvall Fire Department's Safety Fair, I ran across the statistic that 69 percent of the children killed in auto accidents are totally unrestrained.
Parents: Please don't let your children become a statistic! Whatever your excuse is, believe me I've seen the results.
Nobody intends on getting in an accident - they just happen. You could be in your driveway or across the country; it could be perfect weather or a blizzard; your children could be in the midst of a full-blown tantrum or sound asleep.
If not for your children's sake, restrain them properly for your own sake. Can you even imagine the regret and guilt a parent would feel if their child wound up one of these statistics? I can't.
