Charles B. Yager

A family memorial service for Charles B. Yager, age 72 of Woodinville, was held Wednesday Nov. 15, at Evergreen Hospice. Mr. Yager died on Nov. 13 at Evergreen Hospital.
   Mr. Yager was born on April 15, 1928 in Kansas City, Mo., the son of James and Mary Yager. In his younger years he was a race car driver and according to the family he enjoyed singing with his brother, Jack. He was raised in Missouri and married Nancy Lee Walker on Feb. 14, 1966 in Johnson County, Kan. The family moved to Kirkland in 1970. He was a truck driver for Red-E Trucking in Redmond for many years.
   In his leisure time he enjoyed detailing his truck, golf, music and spending time with his family.
   Survivors include his loving wife Nancy L. Yager, of Woodinville; two daughters, Sherry Newman, of Sammamish, Debbie Yager, of Everett, Nancy Carlson, of Redmond; three sons, Jim Yager, of Puyallup, Jack Yager, of Woodinville, Mike Perry of Sammamish; eight grandchildren; a brother, Jack Yager, of Raytown, Mo.
   Remembrances may be made to Evergreen Hospice.
