Jewish Art at Duvall gallery

* The new paintings by Skoropinski reflect her Jewish heritage and love of the Jewish people.
   Original Jewish Art by Duvall resident Shelley Skoropinski will open Sunday, Dec. 3, at Gardens & SunSpaces Gallery, 15611 Main St. in Duvall. Featured will be a dramatic collection of paintings celebrating Skoropinski's Jewish heritage and her love of the Jewish people. The public is invited to view the works and meet the artist Dec. 3, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Gallery.
   Skoropinski received her formal training at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Fleischer's Art School. She has been a resident of the Snoqualmie Valley for over 20 years and uses the area as subjects for her art. In this new series, she reaches into her cultural past to portray memories of life's important moments. This special art event is sponosred by Dr. Caron Nelson, D.D.S. who has a dental practice in Duvall and lives in Woodinville.
