Bothell Parks & Rec activities
The following activities are offered by the City of Bothell Parks & Recreation Department. Registration is required, call (425) 486-7430 for more information.
Tae Kwon-do is an ongoing class offered Monday and Wednesday nights at the Kenmore Jr. High cafeteria (please note the change in location from previous offerings of this class). The first session is from 6:20 - 7 p.m. for 7-12 year olds. The second session is from 7 - 8 p.m. for ages 13 to adult. Fees are due at the beginning of each month. $40/month, $30/month for second family member.
Scrapbooking: Fall Workshop will be held Thursday, Dec. 14, from 7-10 p.m. at the Adult Day Center, 9929 NE 180th, Bothell. Bring your scrapbooking projects, and boxes of photos. Workshop includes a New Idea Handout, snack and beverage. (Scrapbooking albums, tools and decorative supplies will be available for purchase.) $10/evening. Taught by Tracy Nugent.
Gift Making is set for Saturday, Dec. 16, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Anderson School Cafeteria, 18603 Bothell Way NE. Ages 8-12. Make up to three holiday gifts, including gift wrap, for friends and family members. All materials and lunch included. Must register by Dec. 5. Cost is $16/child.
Camp Bothell Way Day Camp is planned for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Dec. 20, 21, 22 and 27, 28 and 29, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Anderson School Cafeteria, 18603 Bothell Way NE.
This year's theme is "Wacky Olympics," providing six days of fun for children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. Cost is $180 for all six days, or $34/day. (Before care (7 9 a.m.) and after care (3 - 6 p.m.) available for an additional cost of $3/day for before care and $3/day for after care.
