Woodinville Junior Football well represented in Eastside playoffs

   The Woodinville Junior Football League made a strong showing in the GE JFA playoffs with three teams making it the semi-finals.
   At the rookie level the Falcons, coached by Les Sipes had a great season losing the semi-final game in the last few minutes to Redmond finishing the season with a 7-2-1 record.
   At the Cub level, Woodinville was represented by two teams, Falcon Blue and Falcon Green. The two teams squared off in a hard-fought semi-final game with the winner, Falcon Green, securing a spot in the championship. The Falcon Blue team, coached by Mark Matsui finished their season 7-2-1.
   The Falcon Green team returned to the championship game Nov. 18 at Issaquah High School. The Falcons played the Newport Knights in a losing effort, ending the season with a 20-1 record.
