Letters to the Editor

Extend a hand to help others

*Looking for a way to get into the holiday spirit of giving?.

Kudos to Council for prohibiting crossbow sales to minors

*Back in July, I wrote a letter to the Carnation City Council requesting an ordinance prohibiting children under the age of 18 from being able to purchase crossbows.

Put on a sweater and save up for a Presto Log

*In the true spirt of Gov. Gary Locke's "learn to get by with less" vision of the future, the people of Western Washington have been asked to curtail electric and gas consumption during the forecasted cold snap.

Please do what you can to help

*I am writing you to inform the community about the Warm Clothing/Toy Drive that the Natural Helpers at Cedarcrest High School are putting on.

Thank you to the wonderful people who helped out

*It had been a weekend of camping, four wheeling, lots of family fun and laughter.

Kindness and generosity from students and staff at Wilder Elementary touched family in need

*The afternoon of Nov. 1 began as a typical afternoon. I arrived home for lunch along with my two young sons.
