Northshore School Board elects officers

At its Dec. 12 meeting, the Northshore School Board elected its president, vice-president, and legislative chair for the upcoming year.
   Jean Fowler will continue for another year as board president. Fowler has been a member of the board since 1989 and served as president from 1992-1995.
   She has been actively involved with the school district since the early 80's. She and her husband Chuck live in Woodinville. They have one grown daughter.
   Kirby Larson will serve as the board vice-president. An author of children's books, Larson has been a member of the board since 1993.
   She and her husband Neil live in Kenmore. They have two children, one in college and one in high school.
   Rich Baldwin will serve as legislative chair. Baldwin was originally appointed to the board in October 1994 and served until November 1995. Elected to the Board in October 1999, he is currently serving a four-year term.
   Baldwin, an electrical engineer, and his wife Martha and three children live in Bothell.
