Awilda Verdejo performs an evening of love songs

DUVALL Lovers, young and old, are invited to a special Valentine's celebration as soprano Awilda Verdejo peforms "Amor," a concert of love songs from around the world, including Cuba, France, Germany, Italy and the United States.
   Arts Onstage presents Ms. Verdejo on Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cedarcrest Performing Arts Center, 29000 NE 150th St. in Duvall.
   The common thread throughout this program is love love of life, love of music, love of country, love of humankind. Through the transforming power of her voice, Ms. Verdejo reconnects us with ourselves and with one another.
   Complimentary chocolates and flowers make this the perfect event for sweethearts of all ages. This performance is made possible through the generous support of the King County Performance Network.
   Tickets to Ms. Verdejo's Amor are available at Pumps and Grinds, Gardens & SunSpaces and Duvall Books in Duvall or at Simply Grand in Carnation.

   Ticket prices are $9 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. Children uder five are free but a ticket is required.
