Skatepark would help teens stay out of trouble

I think the city of Carnation needs a skatepark. Skate boarding is a good outdoor experience and helps develop coordination. It would give teenagers something to do so they could stay out of trouble. If skateboarders had somewhere to skate and hang out, it would solve the problem of them being kicked out of places for skating on grounds of local businesses. Currently, the closest skateparks are Redmond and North Bend. Most parents believe that it is too far to take their kids to these parks, so the kids have to skate around town and on busy streets. If Carnation had a skatepark, it would help keep kids safe and out of trouble.
