*Dec. 27: A prowler was caught in a residential neighborhood after a woman called 911 to report a male suspect had tried doors and was prowling around her home.

*A memorial service for Hugh Eugene Bemis, age 72, was held Jan. 6, at Washington Cathedral. Hugh passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, at his home in Bothell.
  

Deborah T. Collier

*Private services were held for Deborah Collier, 50, who died Wednesday, Dec. 27, at the University of Washington Hospital.
