Autism expert to speak at SEPAC meeting
"Children with Autism: Understanding and Improving their World" will be the topic at the Northshore School's Special Education Parent/Professional Advisory Council (SEPAC) meeting to be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Anderson Cafeteria, 18603 Bothell Way NE in Bothell.
How do children with autism see the world? What teaching and behavior strategies work best?
What resources are available at the UW Autism Center?
Geraldine Dawson, PhD, a professor of psychology and director of the Autism Center at the University of Washington will share her expertise in addressing some of the puzzles of autism.
This presentation is jointly sponsored by the Northshore School District's SEPAC and the Special Services division of Puget Sound Educational Service District.
